Free vs Pro, supported assistants, refunds, and the questions we hear most.

What's free vs Pro?

Free, forever:

  • Scanning + secret detection across all supported assistants
  • The encrypted vault (age + macOS Keychain)
  • Decrypt and restore to plain text
  • Permanently delete the plain-text original after encryption
  • The optional on-device AI helper (via local Ollama)
  • Background file watcher (new transcripts and new leaks surface in seconds without a manual rescan)
  • Posture checks (FileVault status, Claude Code auto-cleanup config)

Pro ($99/year, annual subscription):

  • Rotation tracking toggle (Needs-rotation / Rotated views)
  • Provider filter across the detected-keys table (Claude / Codex / Gemini CLI / Antigravity / All)
  • Per-key rotation state that persists across rescans
  • Priority support

Which AI assistants are supported?

Out of the box:

  • Claude Code
  • OpenAI Codex CLI
  • Gemini CLI
  • Google Antigravity

You can also point the scanner at any directory of text files. The detector doesn't care which assistant produced them.

Does the app touch my provider accounts?

No. Rotation happens at the provider, you click into the provider's dashboard and revoke the key there. The app records that you marked it rotated, nothing more. We never want to be in the loop on your provider credentials.

Will Transcript Vault break Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, or Antigravity?

No. The app only reads transcript files. The assistants keep working exactly as before.

Do I need an account?

No. There's no sign-up, no email collection, no online account. Your Pro licence is a signed token verified offline against the public key embedded in the app. No phone-home, ever.

Refund policy

14-day refund on the initial purchase, no questions. Email support@tekimax.ai. Renewals are non-refundable but you can cancel any time at the Stripe customer portal link in any renewal email to stop further charges.

How do I move my licence to a new Mac?

Your licence is bound to one Mac via a sha256 of its IOPlatformUUID, so a reformat, motherboard replacement, or new machine invalidates the existing key.

To migrate, email support@tekimax.ai with your order email and the new Device ID (visible in Transcript Vault → Settings → Pro licence). We'll mint a fresh signed key bound to the new Device ID and email it back.

How do I cancel?

Open any renewal email from noreply@tekimax.ai and click the Stripe customer-portal link. Cancel any time. You keep Pro access through the end of the current billing period.

If you can't find a renewal email, write support@tekimax.ai and we'll send the portal link.

Why macOS only?

Because that's where Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, and Antigravity write their transcripts, and where the macOS Keychain gives us a clean place to hold the encryption identity. Windows and Linux are on the roadmap.
